I was diagnosed with psuedotumor cerebri* in February of 2010.. I had headaches every day that would cause me to have to stay in bed all day, up to 4 days in row.. I suffered with this for 10 months.. The doctors in Kentucky told me the next step would be to place a shunt in my brain!. I had to take pain medication 3 times a day, high dosage of diamox a day, then surgery on my left eye to release the pressure & to help my eye sight.. After my very first treatment I noticed improvement.. He worked on my head to help with pressure and also recommended some supplements.. No more headaches or pain medication!. I’m very excited!. . *Pseudotumor cerebri literally means “false brain tumor.” It is likely due to high pressure within the skull caused by the buildup or poor absorption of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). The disorder is most common in women between the ages of 20 and 50. Symptoms of pseudotumor cerebri, which include headache, nausea, vomiting, and pulsating sounds within the head, closely mimic symptoms of large brain tumors. (www.ninds.nih.gov)
