Most people do not understand their body’s nutritional requirements, yet their bodies still do. Foods of commerce and food scientists have been unwilling to explain this to the masses. Chemically engineered foods are cheap to raise, process, ship and store. The most expensive part is the marketing and politics of processed foods ie sugar, wheat, corn, and soy.

I will tell you the secret to weight loss and maintaining it. Did you know that all food found in it’s natural whole state (orange, apple, carrot, etc.) contains the corresponding nutrients and enzymes the body requires to properly digest that particular food.

Example, the minerals required to digest sugar are calcium, phosphorous, chromium, magnesium, cobalt, copper, manganese, and zinc. Sugar cane in it’s natural form is rich in these minerals, which work synergistically with sugar canes fiber and enzymes to nourish the body. Not true with refined sugar.

Refined sugar is devoid of the nutrients and enzyme systems that exist in naturally sweet foods. When we eat refined sugar (processed foods) the body needs these minerals and corresponding enzyme systems. Since these enzymes and minerals are not in sugar or processed foods the body adapts by pulling minerals and nutrients from the bone and soft tissues of the body.

This type of eating is what reaks havoc on the body and results in poor health. When refined sugar and processed foods are ingested in the absence of calcium and other important minerals the body draws these minerals and nutrients out of the bone and other soft tissues. This depletion of minerals from bones and soft tissues leads to osteoporosis, involentary muscle spasms, nerve problems, stomach problems, insomnia, fatigue, hormone imbalance, and immune system weakness back and neck pain, arthritis, and many degenerative dis- ease processes.

My challenge to you, take control of your own body by avoiding wheat, sugar and processed foods. In a month you will find a lighter and healthier you. If you need help implementing these changes in your life give us a call and we can get you started on your way to better health.
